[CHARLOTTE, NC] – In an exciting announcement for those hoping to make the leap from sim to reality, the Canadian F1200 eSports Championship will be partnering with Podium eSports for its broadcasts. This innovative series offers sim racers the opportunity to compete for a real world test drive in an F1200 race car courtesy of the Canadian F1200 Drivers association. As the motorsports community continues to discover the invaluable tool of racing in the virtual world, racing hopefuls worldwide have been using events such as this to launch their careers.
Podium eSports, which is a leading media platform specializing in broadcasting, social media engagement, and editorial content creation within the esports industry, will be broadcasting all four events from January to March in 2024.

When asked for comment, Eugene Cartini who is race series organizer of the Canadian F1200 eSports Championship said “We at the F1200 drivers association are excited to work with a true iRacing supporter in Podium eSports and the opportunity to share in our goal of getting Canadian racers of all levels familiar with Canadian Formula 1200 Racing and the possibility of racing with us.”
The first race begins on January 19th, 2024 and all four events take place on iRacing’s virtual recreation of Canadian Tire Motorsports Park in the Formula Vee. The grand prize winner will earn the chance to test a real F1200 race car at Toronto Motorsports Park.
