Miroslaw Nastalczyk victorious in ANTEFAME GT Race at Sebring
On Monday March 21st, the AnteFame GT series kicked off its eight race schedule. The first race featured an eight car field taking on the historic Sebring International Raceway. While the track and conditions tested the skills and patience of many drivers in this 75 minute race, one driver proved they had what it took to win, and that was Miroslaw Nastalczyk.

A dominant victory by Miroslaw Nastalczyk
Nastalczyk took the pole position during qualifying and led every lap in the race, allowing him to drive his Gray Wolf Racing vehicle to victory lane. This feat did not come without challenges though, as multiple drivers kept him honest with narrow gaps behind him. This Included an exciting challenge on and off pit road by Sacha Gorle. As Gorle followed the leader into the pits, he pushed the pit road speed limit and gained time on Nastalczyk. Gorle left pit road only three tenths of a second behind Nastalczyk, meaning he closed a 1.7 second gap on pit road.
“This is going to be a tough race.”
Jake Sparey – Podium eSports Commentator
Not all of the drivers had as smooth of a day however. Podium commentator Jake Sparey noted early in the race broadcast “This is going to be a tough race.” and he was proven to be correct many times. The first driver to learn this was Pawel Kulej near the 10 minute mark of the race, as a spin and wall contact in the infamous Sunset corner of the track forced him to retire from the race. Over the next 65 minutes both Sunset corner and turn three would claim multiple victims and force drivers to pit road to repair their cars.
The final victim the track claimed though was possibly the most heartbreaking, as it was Sacha Gorle on the exit of turn one. Gorle was attempting to stay in the slipstream of the leader to conserve fuel and also set up a late race pass, when his car got loose out of turn one and went deep into the grass. This all but secured a victory for Nastalczyk.
