PODIUM eSPORTS TO BROADCAST ALL-AMERICAN eSPORTS 400
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Sept. 23, 2020) – Podium eSports has announced that it has secured the media rights to the inaugural running of the All-American eSports 400, to run the weekend of Oct. 23-25, in partnership with the Southeastern eSports Association and Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway. The Podium eSports Twitch Channel (twitch.tv/podiumesports) will have coverage of all three days of action from the virtual Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway within iRacing.
The All-American eSports 400 is the official esports version of Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway’s All-American 400, the flagship event of the track. Since 1981, the All-American 400 has been the largest event each year at the Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway, and one of the largest short track races in the United States. Former winners of the race include NASCAR Hall of Famers Rusty Wallace and Darrell Waltrip, as well as Jeff Purvis, Chris Gabehardt, Chase Elliott, John Hunter Nemechek, Daniel Hemric and Bubba Pollard.
The Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway made its debut on iRacing, the world’s premier online racing game, on Sept. 8. The All-American eSports 400 will not only be the first official esports event for the Speedway, but will also be the first major event in iRacing to use the Speedway after its release.
Promoting the All-American eSports 400 is the owner of the Southeastern eSports Association, William Hale. Hale is a lifelong native of the Nashville area and races at the Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway in real life.
