PODIUM eSPORTS AND PORSCHE CLUB OF AMERICA PRESENT PCA SIM RACING SERIES
PEYTON, Colo. – Podium eSports, the Porsche Club of America (PCA) and iRacing have combined to form the Porsche Club of America Sim Racing Series. The eight-race championship will be contested using iRacing’s Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car and begin on March 1.
The championship will be the first officially sanctioned PCA sim racing competition in the nearly 65-year history of the world’s largest single-marque car club. Sixty PCA members will compete at eight legendary circuits across North America to vie for the title of “Inaugural PCA Sim Racing Series Champion.”
With over 130,000 members across the U.S. and Canada, the Porsche Club of America hosts a large variety of annual membership programing including everything from racing, car shows, touring and tech sessions. For the first time, PCA members can also race door-to-door against each other online.
“Everyone at Podium eSports is excited for our first foray into road racing with the PCA,” said Podium eSports Chief Communication Officer James Pike. “Our drivers have consistently asked us when we would add road racing to our calendar and we feel so fortunate to do be able to do that through the PCA.”
“The PCA is a club full of people that are passionate about their cars and their marque. Through this championship, we at Podium look forward to delivering a product that PCA members can be proud of.”
All broadcasts of the PCA Sim Racing Series will be produced by Podium eSports and broadcast on the iRacing eSports Network (https://bit.ly/iRacingeSportsNetwork) and the Porsche Club of America website (www.pca.org).
